1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using SongForgeAI (“the Service”), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

2. Description of Service

SongForgeAI is an AI-powered songwriting tool that generates original song lyrics, refines user-provided lyrics with controlled preservation, evaluates lyric quality, and provides production-ready style prompts. The Service uses artificial intelligence to assist in creative songwriting, including both original creation and improvement of existing drafts.

3. User Accounts

You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account and all activity under it. You must provide accurate information when creating an account.

4. Intellectual Property

Lyrics generated or refined through the Service are provided for your personal and commercial use. You retain ownership of any original prompts, ideas, lyrics, or content you provide, including drafts submitted for refinement. The Service, its design, code, and branding remain the intellectual property of SongForgeAI.

5. Acceptable Use

You agree not to misuse the Service, including but not limited to: generating harmful, illegal, or hateful content; attempting to reverse-engineer the AI systems; circumventing usage limits; or using the Service for spam or automated bulk generation.

6. Subscriptions, Billing, and Refunds

SongForgeAI offers free and paid subscription plans. Paid plans are billed monthly through Stripe. You may cancel your subscription at any time from your account settings or by contacting support. Cancellations take effect at the end of your current billing cycle — you retain access to paid features until that date.

Credit packs are one-time purchases that do not expire and are non-refundable. Monthly song allowances reset at the start of each billing cycle and do not roll over.

If you believe you were charged in error, contact support@songforgeai.com within 14 days of the charge. We will review each request on a case-by-case basis. Refunds, if approved, are issued to the original payment method and may take 5-10 business days to appear.

7. Content Moderation and Termination

SongForgeAI reserves the right to review, restrict, or remove content that violates these Terms or applicable law. Content that is harmful, illegal, hateful, sexually exploitative, or designed to harass or threaten may be removed without notice.

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that repeatedly violate these Terms, abuse the Service, or engage in conduct that is harmful to other users or to the operation of the Service. If your account is terminated for cause, you are not entitled to a refund of any prepaid fees.

8. Service Availability

The Service is provided “as is” without warranties. We do not guarantee uninterrupted access, specific AI output quality, or that generated lyrics will be free of similarity to existing works.

9. Limitation of Liability

SongForgeAI shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service.

10. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.
